Memberikan solusi mudah dan hemat biaya untuk mengintegrasikan sejumlah kecil atau besar dari Camera Analog menjadi sistem pengawasan (surveilliance) berbasis IP (Internet Protocol). M7001 yang seukuran telapak tangan orang dewasa, bekerja mandiri dan dirancang untuk instalasi dekat dengan Camera Analog. Mendukung semua jenis Camera Analog termasuk PTZ Camera dan Dome Camera. M7001 sangat cocokuntuk instalasi Video Analog kecil dan besar, terutama dimana infrastruktur jarinan IP sudah tersedia ditempat. Ukurannya yang sangat kecil juga membuatnya ideal untuk digunakan aplikasi pengawasan (surveillance) tersembunyi, misalkan di toko-toko, bank, dan di rumah. AXIS M7001 dapat memberikan dua Video Streaming secara serentak, satu pada format video H.264 dan yang lain pada format video MJPEG, pada Full Frame rate di semua resolusi hingga D1 (720x480 NTSC, 720x576 PAL). Teknologi kompresi format H.264 yang secara drastis mengurangi bandwidth dan penyimpanan tanpa mengorbankan kualitas Video. Format video MJPEG mendukung peningkatan fleksibilitas. Video Encorder ini juga menyediakan fitur Motion Detection. AXIS M7001 mendukung Power over Ethernet, menggunakan kabel yang sama seperti transmisi data, menyederhakan instalasi.
